Home club judo pictures stage taijitsu wado

For the older members of 11 to 21-years old we organise, in connection with the Stichting Buitenlandse Budostages, every year in the May holidays a 10-day long training stage abroad. During these abroad judo stages it is normal that the judoka’s will sleep on the tatami (judo mat), and a certain level of independence is expected.

During the year, stage weekends are organised for the judoka’s that are going on the abroad stage. These weekends are also accessible for judoka’s that are not going on the budostage. A training weekend starts on Saturday at 14.00 hr. and finishes on Sunday at approx. 13.30 hrs. In such a weekend, there will be two condition/fitness trainings sessions and three judo sessions. One of these judo sessions will be taught by a teacher that is not connected to the Stichting Buitenlandse Budostages or the Sport & Judoclub. During these weekends the pupils will sleep on the tatami and independently working is a given fact during the trainings. Working on ‘teambuilding’ also gets a lot of attention.
